Overview

British Gas apprenticeship opportunity in Gas Engineering. This role provides practical, hands-on training to become a first-class Gas Engineer who ensures homes stay warm and safe.

Responsibilities
  • Learn from experienced engineers and develop skills from servicing and maintaining to repairing and upgrading central heating systems.
  • Contribute to delivering energy-efficient solutions that benefit families daily.
  • Participate in a practical training programme at UK-wide academies, gaining knowledge, hands-on skills, and recognised qualifications.
Qualifications
  • 4 GCSEs (or Scottish Highers) at grade C/4 or above, ideally including Maths and English, or equivalent qualification.
  • A CV that shows a passion for learning a trade, a technical or mechanical mindset, and a commitment to delivering great customer service.
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Availability to attend training at UK-wide academies, with provided accommodation and travel if needed.
