Job summary

South London Heating Limited is seeking an experienced Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join our growing team. This role focuses on servicing, diagnostics and repairs in private residential properties across South London, backed by an expert office and technical team.

You will service, diagnose and repair domestic boilers and heating systems, attend call-outs and maintain high safety and customer‑service standards.

Qualifications

• Current Domestic ACS qualifications, including CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1, as applicable.
• Strong domestic boiler service, repair and breakdown experience.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Experience across domestic heating and hot-water systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• High standards of Health & Safety and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Servicing domestic gas boilers and heating systems to a high standard.
• Diagnosing boiler and central-heating faults accurately.
• Carrying out effective repairs and resolving breakdowns.
• Attending heating and hot-water call-outs.
• Identifying required parts and follow-on works accurately.
• Communicating clearly with customers and the office team.
• Completing service records, certificates and job information using our digital systems.
• Delivering a professional and respectful service in customers' homes.
