Job summary

Liberty Gas Group is seeking a Gas Service and Repair Engineer to operate in Harrow and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing, repairing and maintaining domestic heating systems, with opportunities for overtime and call-outs. A valid UK driving license and essential ACS qualifications are required.

You will document works with a PDA, adhere to gas safety regulations, and participate in pre-employment checks including DBS where applicable. A contributory benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT (Essential)
• A full UK driving license
• Additional qualifications (LPG, Unvented) desirable
• Flexibility to varied work and schedules
• Excellent customer service experience with the public
• Knowledge of gas legislation and regulations
• Strong Health & Safety practices understanding
• Ability to manage time and workload independently
• Recognised formal qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) desirable

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintenance of domestic heating systems following health and safety guidelines
• Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-outs
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction and safety
• Document works using your PDA
• Report accidents, near-miss events and potential hazards
• Handle additional maintenance tasks within remit

Your Role, as our Gas Service and Repair Engineer:

• Undertake the service, repair and maintenance of domestic heating systems, working to health & safety guidelines, safe working practices, operational procedures, gas safety regulations and specifications.
• Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-outs.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and safety.
• Document works using your PDA.
• Report accidents, near-miss events, and potential hazards.
• Handle any additional maintenance tasks within your remit.
• Be flexible in working with a wide range of customers, adapting to their needs and schedules.

What We Need from You.

• ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT (Essential)

• Excellent customer service skills with experience working with the public
