About the role

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED GAS ENGINEER to join our LONDON team. You will be meeting with clients and customers on a daily basis so good spoken English is required. We rely on various apps to communicate throughout the day and to provide relevant job information, so a smartphone and being comfortable to use it would be ideal, including filling in a job report.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair gas appliances and heating systems
• May undertake occasional installations
• Carry out work unsupervised in residential and commercial premises
• Use initiative, problem‑solving skills, maintain professionalism, and ensure detailed work

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in gas engineering
• Good spoken English
• Comfortable with smartphone and job reporting apps

Job Types

• Option 1 – Employed: £40k – 55k PA, full package, vehicle supplied, 28 days holiday (incl. BH), one extra holiday day per year (up to 5), SSP, Pension.
• Option 2 – Self‑employed: £200 – 300 per day, vehicle supply optional.
• Option 3 – Self‑employed, must own vehicle: agreed price per job completed – £40 for a gas safety/service, £50 for a breakdown.

Additional information

Probation period – 1‑week trial then 3 months' probation.
