Job summary

PH Jones, part of Centrica, is seeking a Gas Engineer for Birmingham to perform repairs and maintenance in domestic social housing. The role emphasizes first-time fixes, high customer service standards, and compliance with PH Jones and British Gas guidelines.

You will have ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1), a valid UK driving license, and at least 2 years of experience. A fully costed van and ongoing upskilling opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• ACS qualified with CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1.
• Minimum 2 years of qualified field experience in gas engineering.
• Valid UK driving license and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance in domestic social housing properties with a focus on first-time fixes.
• Operate within PH Jones and British Gas standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Your role

You will be carrying out repairs and maintenance in domestic Social Housing properties, aiming for first-time fixes with the support of our 24/7 network

What we need from you

• Hold a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold 2 year’s minimum qualified experience
• Be ACS qualified, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, & CKR1
• Exhibit knowledge of all procedures and safety measures to PH Jones and British Gas standards whilst offering excellent customer service
