Energy Aspects is seeking a Gas Quant Analyst to join our growing research team, based in either London or Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented analyst to develop expertise in LNG and/or EU gas markets whilst working with a world‑class team of energy market specialists.
The gas analyst will support the development of our LNG and/or EU gas market views, working closely with the rest of the team to produce timely, high‑quality analysis. You will work in an environment that mirrors the responsiveness and commercial sharpness of a trading desk: staying close to the market, responding quickly to new information, and in constant dialogue with industry and trading contacts. The role requires intellectual rigour, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate fast‑moving developments into clear, actionable insights for clients.
A core focus of the role is contributing to LNG and EU gas research output that is timely, relevant, and decision‑useful. This means producing short, well‑researched analysis of market‑moving events, with speed of delivery a key priority. Our reports, presentations, and client interactions should help market participants identify the most important developments, understand their implications, and spot the most compelling market opportunities. You will develop short‑term supply‑demand balances, work collaboratively with senior colleagues to refine your analytical approach, and build robust, defensible market views.
This is an opportunity to grow your career in an entrepreneurial business operating in fast‑evolving global energy markets. You will learn to spot emerging opportunities, contribute ideas for analytical development, and work collaboratively across teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to interact professionally with clients and market participants. In return, we offer competitive remuneration, the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced energy market specialists, and the chance to develop your expertise within one of the industry's most respected energy intelligence businesses.
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes annual bonuses, comprehensive private health insurance, substantial pension contributions, company share options, subsidised gym memberships, and a generous holiday policy to support your financial and personal well‑being.
Life at Energy Aspects is shaped by a global, diverse team with a strong sense of community. Social clubs cater to a wide range of interests, from running and yoga to football and culinary adventures, providing a collegial and dynamic atmosphere that promotes a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Our strategically located offices are housed in prestigious buildings, with convenient access to gyms, retail, diverse dining options, and public transport.
