Job summary

Pacifica is seeking a Gas-Qualified Trainee White Goods Engineer to join our field-based team in Swindon. No prior white goods experience is required, as full, fully funded training will be provided to become a skilled domestic appliance engineer.

Holds CCN1 and CKR1 Gas Qualifications – essential. You must have a UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points and be comfortable using hand tools as you learn to diagnose, repair and service washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigeration,

Qualifications

• Holds CCN1 and CKR1 Gas Qualifications – essential.
• UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points or fewer.
• Comfortable using hand tools and has a mechanical/electrical mindset.
• Able to work independently in customers' homes and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic appliances in customers' homes.
• Use developing gas, electrical and mechanical skills to identify faults.
• Carry out repairs safely, efficiently and professionally.
• Record repair details using engineer software and manage jobs.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs clearly.
• Continue developing technical skills through training and mentoring.
