A purpose-driven organisation in the UK is seeking a Gas Install Manager responsible for leading gas and renewable heating installations. The ideal candidate will be a qualified gas engineer with management experience, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing installation teams effectively. This role aims to contribute to the UK's low-carbon future, offering competitive benefits and a supportive environment.
Our client is a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to improving homes through retrofit, energy efficiency, and low-carbon solutions. They specialise in projects that make homes warmer, healthier, and more affordable to run, while helping communities reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to the UK's net-zero targets.
Operating across Northern England, they deliver a wide range of retrofit measures including insulation, ventilation, heating systems, and renewable-ready solutions. Committed to quality, safety, and respect for the people whose homes they work in, they are expanding their leadership team to guide technical delivery, ensure compliance, and drive innovation.
The Gas Install Manager is a critical role in this growth, responsible for safe, reliable, and future‑ready heating installations — including both traditional gas systems and renewable technologies such as Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs).
As Gas Install Manager, you will act as the technical authority and operational manager for all gas and renewable heating installations across domestic retrofit projects.
You will oversee boiler installations, pipework, flues, heating controls, ASHPs, and associated systems, ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time, and in line with Gas Safe regulations, PAS 2035 standards, and client requirements.
The role also involves managing subcontractors, providing technical guidance, quality inspections, compliance oversight, mentoring staff, reviewing work, and acting as the key technical contact for clients and project teams.
This is a leadership role for a qualified gas engineer with proven management experience, combining hands‑on technical expertise with strategic responsibility.
