AWD Online invites applications for a Gas Engineer / Plumber in Oldham. The role covers gas servicing, plumbing installation and maintenance across healthcare and education properties, with a focus on safety compliance and service standards.

You will handle water system tasks, fault finding, and installations while collaborating with the estates team. Essential qualifications include F-Gas and domestic gas certs, NVQ Level 2 Mechanical Engineering Services, and a valid UK driving licence.

Formación

• Must hold F-Gas qualification with practical experience.
• Current domestic gas qualifications.
• NVQ Level 2 6089 Mechanical Engineering Services – City & Guilds trade qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous domestic and commercial plumbing maintenance experience.
• Previous commercial gas experience.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Experience in health and safety at height and related paperwork.
• Competence completing PPM paperwork, inspection sheets, RAMS and related records.

Responsabilidades

• Gas Servicing and Maintenance: Service, maintain and commission gas installations.
• Plumbing Installation and Repairs: Carry out plumbing installation and maintenance across properties.
• Planned and Reactive Maintenance: Complete PPM and reactive work on water and heating systems.
• Mechanical First and Second Fix: Install radiators, baths, WCs, and associated pipework.
• Water Treatment and Testing: TMV testing and water treatment activities.
• Plant and Equipment Installation: Assist with boilers and storage tanks.
• Parts, Stock and Records: Order parts and maintain van stock.
• Team and Site Support: Work with engineers and other trades, assist with labouring and emergencies.
