Job summary

Liberty Group is hiring a Gas Engineer for Whitehaven on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You’ll perform gas servicing and boiler maintenance with a focus on safety and quality, planning your day to deliver first-time correct results.

This role offers a competitive salary, company van, fuel card and comprehensive benefits. Core hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a supportive team and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• ACS gas qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT are required.
• Full UK driving licence and customer-facing professionalism are essential.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is desirable; LPG or Unvented qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out gas servicing and boiler maintenance in a safe, organised, professional way.
• Plan your day, use judgement and complete work right first time.
• Adhere to core hours: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm; no out-of-hours work.
