Job summary

An energy company is seeking Service & Repair Engineers to deliver outstanding service and repairs to customers across the UK. Job description

British Gas is an energy company dedicated to providing reliable, efficient and eco‑friendly heating solutions to homes across the UK. We are looking for Service & Repair Engineers to join our team of experienced Gas Engineers and help customers receive the help they need, when they need it.

About your role

You will play a pivotal part in British Gas’s Service Promise – delivering same‑day fixes for our customers. Your responsibilities will include attending annual service visits and complex breakdowns, representing British Gas in the customer’s home, and working across a range of boilers and central heating systems from various manufacturers.

Base Salary is £45,483 with uncapped OTE – £52,400 is a realistic expectation through our field reward scheme.

Requirements
  • Natural, dedicated focus on providing outstanding customer experience on every visit
  • Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1), NVQ, C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating
  • 3 years qualified experience of fault finding and diagnosis
  • Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S‑plan, Y‑plan and combination systems and boilers
