Job summary
Infinity Resource Solutions in Inverness is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance on gas systems across domestic, (potentially commercial, and industrial) settings. You will diagnose faults, carry out installations, and ensure work meets industry standards and service level agreements, with on-call coverage.
The role requires OFTEC and GasSafe registration, Domestic Gas Certification, and a clean UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- Must have proven experience in domestic gas environments.
- Hold Domestic Gas Certification.
- Be OFTEC and GasSafe registered.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Willing to train and mentor apprentices.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Disclosure Scotland/PVG check current or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on gas systems.
- Undertake new installations and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) with full documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Work independently and collaboratively on large-scale projects.
- Mentor and support apprentices within the team.
- Maintain a proactive and problem-solving approach to daily tasks.
