Job Title: Commercial Gas Contracts Manager

Type: Permanent

Industry: Technical and Engineering

Salary: 50kpa to 70kpa depending on experience + OTE plus excellent company benefits

Workchain is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Contracts Manager to join our client based in Derby, DE1 on a permanent basis.

This role covers nationally, developing our clients commercial gas sector and service.

You will play a key role in the commercial gas contracts management, delivering a quality service and growing this commercial gas service.

This role is a hybrid position, depending on workload: 3 days office based and 2 days from home / meetings.

This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.

Candidate Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial gas contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budgets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the commercial department and drive the expansion of contracts and services
  • Oversee the technical and operational aspects of the contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high levels of performance and customer satisfaction
Candidate Key Requirements
  • Proven ability to successfully manage commercial gas contracts including large scale projects and company specifications
  • Have a strong network of contacts within the gas industry and be capable of delivering works and driving business growth
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Candidates must hold a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm, with overtime available during busy periods.

The starting salary is 50kpa to 70kpa, with excellent company benefits including a company vehicle, company mobile and laptop and OTE package.
