Job description

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Garment Technologist to join a small but growing brand. You'll be the sole technical lead, working closely with the designer and responsible for overseeing the entire product development process from fabric testing to final samples.

Garment Technologist Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full product lifecycle - from initial tech packs to production handover.
• Review fabric testing and assess material suitability.
• Lead fittings, evaluate garment construction, and suggest improvements for fit and function.
• Create and maintain detailed tech packs with accurate specs and construction details.
• Liaise directly with factories and suppliers to resolve technical and production issues.
• Collaborate closely with the designer, offering confident, technical input during development.
