Job description

At AllSaints we are in the business of feelings - making our customers feel cool and confident. If, like us, you believe in the power of a great outfit, we'd love to talk to you.

We're a global brand made up of a very diverse mix of talented people in a huge variety of roles. Our products are designed in house and made by a small number of suppliers and artisans around the world to sustainable standards.

We are a brand embarking on a very exciting plan and we are seeking new members of the team who want to contribute to this.

THE ROLE

As a Garment Technologist at AllSaints you will act as the bridge between a creative vision and a physical masterpiece. You will take total technical ownership of our dual-gender categories, ensuring every piece—from a structured blazer to technical outerwear—meets our exacting standards of quality and fit.

This is a high-visibility role that requires a "product-first" mindset. You’ll be the glue between our internal Design, Buying, and Pattern Room teams, as well as our global external vendors. If you are obsessed with the "how" of garment construction and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this is your next move.

You should come from a multi-product background with a high level of experience with outerwear and tailoring across both genders, and have a passion for all things technical when it comes to creating good quality garments.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The technical department at AllSaints are responsible for the fit and quality of all AllSaints products. The team works closely with design to execute their creative vision, whilst maintaining the quality and consistency of AllSaints’ products, ensuring the brand remains an iconic and high quality label. In this role you will report into the Head of Technical.

  • Guarantee that the fit of our products is consistent across the collection and quality of garments is to the AllSaints standard
  • Help provide and present data reports so team and vendor performance can be monitored and improved
  • Hold weekly team meetings to ensure critical path deadlines are on track, meaning business objectives are met
  • Manage the production sealing tracker and ensuring sealing deadline targets are met in line with the critical path
  • Manage the block development process and ensure the block library is continually assessed and kept up to date
  • Organise and manage fit meetings with all relevant teams
  • Ensure that tech packs are updated with fit comments and spec, and vendors are informed inline with the critical path
  • Collaborate with the technical team to produce high quality and uniformed garments across all categories to drive a reduction in faulty returns
  • Manage risk assessment of product in close collaboration with the product development and production teams, as well as external vendors
  • Monitor and advise on the safe operating standards essential in manufacturing
  • Ensure digital technology is embraced (3D fittings, VC fit meetings)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Multi product experience is important
  • A natural flair when it comes to garment construction, pattern amendments and production requirements
  • Experienced in working within a commercial and design led environment
  • Solid understanding of garment grading and vertical retailing
  • You will be clear on the design aesthetic of AllSaints
  • Creative and analytical approach to ensure AllSaints remains an iconic brand that produces high quality and stylish products
  • Team player who collaborates and directs with ease, motivating and developing others within your team
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
