Tagged Resources Recruitment specialists supplying Fashion, Beauty, Food and Home is seeking an experienced Garment Technologist to support the design, development and production teams across men’s, ladies and children’s fashion. You will work closely with Buyers and the team to ensure quality standards and manufacturing feasibility.

Flexible working is available, and you will be part of a collaborative environment focused on delivering consistent garment quality and accurate size specifications

• Experience of working in Garment Technology.
• Enthusiasm and determination, with a passion for garment technology.
• Team spirit and a positive attitude.
• Confidence in communicating with all departments and suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Ensuring garments meet quality standards and manufacturing is within tolerance.
• Discussing new designs with design department and Merchandisers to decide on manufacturing approach.
• Creating size specifications and graded size charts for new garments.
• Monitoring production of samples and implementing design changes for manufacturing requirements.
• Conducting fit meetings with customers.
• Grading, pattern review and fitting, lab reports, compliance and shipment samples approval.

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced person to work as a Garment Technologist to work across men’s, ladies and children’s fashion. You will be a great team player, highly dedicated with a passion for all things fashion and a good communicator, working with Buyers and supporting the team

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that garments are being produced to the required quality standard and that manufacturing is measured within tolerance.
• Discussing new designs with the design department and Merchandisers and helping to decide on the best way to manufacture them.
• Working out size specifications and planning how new garments will be made up by producing initial and graded size charts.
• Monitoring the production of sample garments and initiating any changes to the designs to fit manufacturing requirements.
• Fit meetings with customers
• Grading, Pattern review & Fitting, Lab reports, compliance and Shipment samples approval
