Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc is seeking a Garment Technologist Assistant for a growing fashion and activewear business on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract. The role supports a busy Technical team with administrative tasks, sample coordination and documentation across product development.

You will work closely with Garment Technologists, manage development files, and assist with fit sessions, supplier communication and wearer trials. Previous fashion or activewear exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident using Excel and Google Docs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and keen to learn.
• Interest in garment construction, fit and product development.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Garment Technologists.
• Maintain product development files, trackers and technical information.
• Coordinate samples with suppliers and the wider product team.
• Support fit sessions and record follow-up actions.
• Assist with supplier communication and critical path updates.
• Organise samples, fit models and wearer trials.
• Track fabric and garment testing reports.
• Support care label administration and general Technical team projects.
