Job summary

Planet Recruitment are looking for a Gardener to join a client of ours in Oxford on a casual basis, starting as soon as possible, with potential for up to 40hrs per week.

There is the possibility of the position leading to a permanent role and previous gardening experience is desirable. Duties include maintaining lawns, hedges, and outdoor spaces, while ensuring safety and assisting visitors with queries.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of caring for lawns or gardens.
• Passion for gardens and working with plants.
• Awareness of relevant health and safety regulations.
• Enjoy working outside in all weathers.

Responsibilities

• Keeping sites clear of litter, leaves and snow
• General maintenance of all lawns
• Respond helpfully to visitors regarding gardens/plants queries
• Assisting to maintain hedges
• Assist, as required, at the sportsground
• Assist in sowing seeds, potting and watering

However, some weeks may involve fewer hours due to seasonal requirements.

There is the possibility of the position leading to a permanent role.

Previous experience in a gardening position desirable.
