Hallmark Luxury Care Homes invites a Gardener to join our team at our English care homes. You will maintain outdoor spaces, plant and care for flora, and ensure safety of residents and staff.

The role requires a passion for gardening, empathy, and a strong commitment to COSHH safety. You will work with a caring team to enrich our residents' daily lives through beautiful outdoor spaces.

Qualifications

• Must love outdoor gardening and caring for residents in a care-home setting.
• Show patience and empathy with residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds to high standards, keeping areas safe, tidy and visually appealing.
• Tend flowerbeds, shrubs and trees, planting and nurturing a variety of flora.
• Care for equipment and structures such as fencing, ensuring good condition.
• Clear snow and ice in winter to protect residents and staff.
• Use garden products in line with COSHH regulations, prioritising safety.
• Adapt work schedule to meet residents' needs and support the team.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive environment.
