Chase Taylor Recruitment Ltd. is partnering with a well-established company to recruit a Garage Door Installer covering Durham and surrounding areas. You will receive full training, develop practical skills, and have a long-term career with ongoing support.

As an installer, you will fit roller shutter doors at customers' homes, ensuring safe, high-quality installations and excellent service. A fully paid Leeds training course and travel costs are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Be confident using power tools and hand tools.
• Be physically fit, as the role involves regular lifting and manual handling.
• Have strong practical and problem-solving skills.
• Be comfortable working in customers' homes and delivering excellent customer service.
• Hold a full UK driving licence that has been held for at least one year.
• Have a clean UK driving licence.
• Be reliable, professional and have a strong work ethic.
• Be able to complete site paperwork accurately and follow health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install high-quality roller shutter garage doors at customers' homes across Durham and the surrounding local area.
• Represent the business professionally, ensuring installations are completed safely and to a high standard with excellent customer service.
• Attend a fully paid training course in Leeds during the first week of September, with all training and travel costs covered.
• After training, work independently across your local area with support from the wider team.

The Role

As a Garage Door Installer, you'll be responsible for installing high-quality roller shutter garage doors at customers' homes across Durham and the surrounding local area.

You'll represent the business professionally, ensuring every installation is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard, while delivering excellent customer service.

Successful candidates will attend a fully paid training course in Leeds during the first week of September. The training will cover everything you need to know to carry out the installations successfully, with all training, travel and associated costs covered by the company.

Following completion of the training, you'll begin working independently across your local area with the support of the wider team.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for candidates with hands-on experience in industries such as:

• Other practical installation or engineering roles

Previous garage door installation experience is advantageous but not essential. If you have transferable skills and a practical background, full training will be provided.
