Job description
Position Overview

German‑speaking Account Executive for Adthena, responsible for accelerating growth in the German market. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, leveraging MEDDPICC methodology, organic influence and native language skills to build trust with decision‑makers.

Responsibilities
  • Run structured, value‑led discovery that links personal pain to business impact.
  • Lead clean, well‑structured meetings with UFCs and set clear next steps.
  • Use ROI models and success stories to drive urgency and alignment with prospects.
  • Leverage native‑German language skills and market knowledge to build trust and influence decision‑makers.
  • Drive new business acquisition in Germany (and the UK & US), focusing on digital agencies and enterprise brands.
  • Build external technical and business champions to land new logos worth $800k‑1M ARR and meet annual quota.
  • Generate 20‑30% of pipeline independently; manage multiple transactions simultaneously within 100 days.
  • Execute own contracts and commercial negotiations, aiming for a 30% win rate.
  • Learn and apply Adthena’s sales methodology and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of direct SaaS sales experience selling enterprise‑level solutions with complex sales cycles.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) – able to engage confidently with C‑level stakeholders.
  • Proven experience selling into the German/DACH market.
  • Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales, ideally within adtech, martech, or digital marketing.
  • Strong experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Consultative, solution‑oriented sales style with ability to uncover customer pain points and align solutions.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Self‑starter mentality with drive to build new business in a growth market.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and modern GTM/sales engagement tools.
  • Collaborative mindset – comfortable working cross‑functionally with SDRs, Marketing, Product and Customer Success.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced, evolving SaaS environment.
  • Experience utilising MEDDPICC or similar value‑selling methodologies.
  • Desired experience selling software solutions within the AdTech, MarTech or Digital Marketing space.
