Team/Role Overview

This is an entry-level role within the futures team in Belfast. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing & welcoming team, who directly interact numerous areas of the bank, including front office trading. This role is focused primarily on trade clearing at numerous EU and UK Clearing houses (CCPs) - ensuring that the books and records of the firm are kept in line with what is cleared in the real world.

The successful candidate will receive supportive training and a personal development plan to help them succeed within this role and develop their career at Citi.

What you will do
  • Working with exchange traded derivatives (ETD) ensuring trades clear in good time
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to collectively create a best in class offering for our clients
  • Maintain and update static data where needed
  • Utilize your fresh perspective to suggest process improvements
What we will need from you
  • Previous relevant experience preferable but not essential
  • Fundamental understanding of treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
  • Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of macros
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
