This exciting 36‑month programme is designed to accelerate your journey to success, giving you hands‑on experience across our business and the skills to shape the future of food.

What's Involved?

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into every corner of Samworth Brothers!

Over the course of the programme, you'll gain a 360° view of our business and experience what it really takes to deliver high‑quality food from concept to customer.

Through a series of exciting rotations across our UK‑wide operations, you'll build hands‑on experience in every area, from supply chain and production to commercial and customer‑facing roles. Alongside this, you'll complete a Level 5 Management Apprenticeship and take on real people‑management responsibilities to prepare you for the next step in your career.

This structured development journey gives you broad exposure to the food manufacturing world and helps you develop a powerful skill set, including strategic thinking, collaboration, data analysis and project delivery.

You'll also use our skills passport to track your growth, ensuring you gain the technical and professional capabilities that set you apart.

By the end of the 36‑month programme, you'll progress into a permanent management‑level role, tailored to your strengths, interests and ambitions.

You'll have guidance from your line manager, coaching from our dedicated Early Careers team and L&D specialists, and one‑to‑one mentoring with a senior leader throughout.

You'll also build a powerful network and build your personal brand, connecting with peers, experts, and industry leaders who will help you learn, grow, and succeed.

Our structured approach works, every Samworth Brothers graduate has achieved a distinction on their apprenticeship since 2022, and many are already in leadership roles!

  • Flexible to relocate across our sites in Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Cornwall, Worksop, Shoreham‑by‑Sea, and Manchester (relocation support provided)
Eligibility
  • On track to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 or above in your undergraduate degree
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years
  • Have a driving licence and own transport in place for September 2026
