  • Assist fee earners with the full lifecycle of private fund formation.
  • Conduct legal research on UK and EU regulatory developments.
  • Assist with compliance and subscription agreements for fundraisings.
  • Coordinate fund marketing registrations and other filings.
  • Upload and maintain key fund documents.
  • Support the post‑matter review process.
  • Update internal trackers and other client support documents.

Future Trainee Paralegal

Top-tier US law firm is recruiting a Future Trainee Paralegal to join its market-leading Private Funds Group on an initial 12-month fixed‑term contract.

  • Salary to £55,000 + generous employee benefits, including free on‑site gym, annual wellbeing allowance, and more!
  • 12‑month fixed‑term contract
  • 09:30‑17:30 (Mon‑Fri) and hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day remote)
  • Chancery Lane / City Thameslink / Blackfriars

This role will provide excellent opportunities to gain significant experience working on sophisticated cross‑border fund formations, investor representations, and regulatory matters for global private equity, venture capital, and real estate clients.

Key Responsibilities of the Future Trainee Paralegal:
  • Assist fee earners with the full lifecycle of private fund formation, including drafting and reviewing ancillary fund documentation.
  • Conduct legal research on UK and EU regulatory developments impacting private funds.
  • Assist compliance and subscription agreements for fundraisings and processing amendments to key fund documents as required.
  • Coordinate fund marketing registrations and other filings.
  • Upload and maintain key fund documents and project management documents.
  • Support the post‑matter review process including the updating of project plans, working bibles, archiving know‑how and facilitating learning for future similar matters.
  • Update internal trackers and other client support documents.
