A leading long-term savings and retirement firm in Birmingham is seeking a Future Talent Lead to drive innovative early careers strategies. This role involves designing programs to attract and nurture exceptional talent, enhancing employer brand, and ensuring alignment with organizational needs. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in future talent programs and a strong ability to collaborate across teams. A competitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000, plus bonuses and benefits, is offered.

Location: This role will spend time working from the office and from home, with a contractual location of either Birmingham or Edinburgh

We are looking for a Future Talent Lead to join our Employer Brand & Future Talent team. You’ll be a forward-thinking, passionate expert who can design, deliver and continuously enhance our Future Talent/Early Careers strategy. This role will be responsible for all Future Talent programmes across the group, ensuring we attract, nurture and retain exceptional talent who will shape the future of our business. This is a critical role that will design programmes which build the skills we need for the future and to help us meet our objectives of building a diverse and equitable organisation. It’s a fantastic and unique opportunity to rethink and build a brand-new proposition for a FTSE 100 organisation.
The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands‑on. You will be capable of building strong partnerships across the organisation, driving innovative approaches to strategy, programme design, recruitment and talent development which in turn will create an outstanding experience for our candidates, colleagues and leaders.
