Jet2 invites aspiring pilots to join a structured programme that immerses you in airline operations from day one, covering dispatch, OCC, crewing, and customer service touchpoints. You will benefit from a clear pathway into a Future Second Officer role with strong development support.

Newly qualified professionals or those close to completion of flight training are welcome, with training and currency requirements aligned to UK regulations.

Qualifications

• Licence: Frozen ATPL with IR, MCC, ME and UPRT — UK CAA.
• Medical: Class 1.
• Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher.
• Currency: Evidence of recent flying currency through training and/or regular flying.
• Status: Newly qualified or close to completing professional flight training.
• Right to work: Unrestricted in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
• Type Rating: Not required — we welcome NTR candidates and provide training.

• Airline induction and culture immersion—see what makes an award‑winning airline and tour operator tick.
• Flight operations familiarisation—dispatch, OCC, crewing, ground ops and customer service touchpoints.
• Safety, compliance and Just Culture—SOPs, SMS and human factors the Jet2 way.
• Technical consolidation—performance, systems, meteorology and operational decision‑making.
• CRM and leadership—communication, teamwork and resilience for the multi‑crew environment.
• Simulator preparation—bridge the gap from training to line operations with airline‑relevant scenarios.
• Professional readiness—interviews, briefings and behaviours expected on the line.

What You’ll Bring
