Responsibilities

• Identify risks to delivery by meeting with production owners
• Support creation of response plans through risk tolerance assessment
• Calculate and advise on risk tolerance and appetite policy
• Review and manage risks regularly to ensure compliance with KPIs
• Encourage proactive thinking about risks
• Deliver clear briefs and reports to leadership
• Mitigate risks to program schedules with Risk Owners
• Organise and support risk governance meetings

Skills

Experience of implementing risk management processes

Experience of quantitative cost and schedule risk modelling

Experience of commercial risk management

Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships

Experience in problem solving and negotiation

Education

Technical first degree or equivalent through experience

Professional risk management qualification (Axelos MoR or IRM)

Member of the Institute of Risk Management or equivalent body
