Job summary

Johnson Matthey invites high-potential graduates to join the JM LEAD program, a 2.5-year rotation across Science, Commercial and Operations where you’ll lead and support projects that enhance performance and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Science or related discipline with a minimum 2:1.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities applied to practical settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in future leadership.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity and own deliverables.
  • Geographic flexibility and willingness to travel across JM locations.

Responsibilities

  • Complete three rotational placements over 2.5 years across key areas including Science, Commercial and Operations.
  • Lead and support business-critical projects to improve performance, sustainability, growth and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with global teams to deliver solutions and broaden business understanding.
  • Apply technical and analytical skills to solve complex challenges and identify improvements.
  • Develop leadership capability through structured development and exposure to senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to projects that create value through innovation and continuous improvement.
