Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Future Integrated Operational Support Solution Lead in Andover, offering hybrid working patterns. The role focuses on shaping support and operating models for future defence platforms to ensure mission readiness and sustainability.

You will develop integrated solutions across disciplines, lead capability assessments, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define supportability requirements for emerging defence programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing support, maintenance or operating models for new or developing platforms and capabilities.
• Strong background in engineering, logistics, fleet management, and supportability.
• Experience supporting defence acquisition and through-life engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design future-state operating models covering structures, governance, processes, responsibilities and commercial frameworks.
• Develop integrated support solutions aligned with organisational and customer strategies.
• Define integration approaches linking support models with operational readiness and services.
• Conduct capability assessments and gap analyses for defence solution development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape supportability requirements for emerging programmes.
