Job summary

The Gatwick School is seeking a Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship on a fixed term basis to inspire young minds. You will support colleagues to deliver high standards of teaching, meeting each child’s needs in line with the school's ethos.

Initial qualifications include GCSE Maths/English and a willingness to pursue Level 2/3 TA qualifications. We offer extensive CPD, enhanced benefits, and the chance to work within an all-through primary and secondary setting within the Aurora Academies Trust.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent essential.
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate desirable; willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
• Adapt support to meet individual pupil needs and development.
• Maintain positive relationships with pupils, carers and staff.
• Assist with learning tasks and record progress.
