Job summary

Abstract Recruitment is seeking a reliable Warehouse Loader/Unloader to join our team. The role focuses on loading and unloading furniture and flat-pack products, and performing general warehouse duties with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:30, with a paid 8-hour day and a 30-minute unpaid break. The role is full-time and pays £13.31 per hour, with a strong emphasis on physical fitness and teamwork to move and prepare stock for delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments is desirable but not essential.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy manual handling.
• Able to lift and move furniture safely as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload sofas, chairs and other furniture items.
• Move flat-pack furniture weighing 40-70 kg with team or assistance.
• Pick, sort and label items for dispatch with accuracy.
• Maintain tidy, safe and organized warehouse area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
