Duties
- Planning & Designing kitchens & wardrobes for customers in both initial and follow up appointments to provide accurate plans, along with installation and custom worktop quotations where appropriate.
- You actively engage with our customers identifying their needs, inspiring and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
- Support with responding to the customer emails, securing payments both in store and remotely.
- You will communicate with customers in a variety of ways, including email, text and calls starting from pre appointment calls, and continuing through planning and purchase of their kitchen.
- You will support the overall customer shopping experience in the Planning and Order Point by completing other tasks when needed this may include replenishing products, picking and handing out orders, supporting with general customer enquires.

Requirements
- Due to the small nature of the unit we are looking to build a team of multiskilled co-workers who are self-sufficient and can take responsibility. The successful co-workers will be handling all aspects of running a small unit from planning to customer service and opening/closing, so if you are motivated and display IKEA's leadership qualities we'd love to hear from you.
- You have an interest in people's life at home and look to provide customers with personalized solutions that meet their needs.
- You have experience working in a customer oriented business, working closely with sales targets and customer conversion rates.
- Confidence to take personal initiative and be open to change, with the ability to both find solutions to complex problems and be able to communicate to the customer.
- Confident in learning and working with a variety of computer programmes including Microsoft Office suite and Planning Tools.
- You care about making a positive impact in the world. You understand greatness requires thinking differently. An inclusive and accepting work environment is important to you.

Job Details
- The Start Date of employment will be: 5th January 2026
- The starting salary for this role is £28,118 per annum, based on competence and experience.
- 39 hours working 5 days per week including evenings and alternate weekends.
