  • Calm and compassionate response in emotional circumstances.
  • Ability to perform manual lifting (physical aspects of the role).

Job description

Funeral Service Crew – Newcastle Under Lyme, ST5 8AX
£12.79 per hour plus benefits
Part time, 20 hours per week, part‑time shifts Mon‑Fri 8 am‑8 pm. On‑call rota included. No prior experience required – apply via mobile, no CV needed.

What you’ll do
  • Collect the deceased from a range of locations in a professional and empathetic manner

  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities, including vehicles
  • Prepare coffins and engrave name plates
  • Prepare the deceased for viewings and the funeral service
What we’re looking for
