Co-op Funeralcare is seeking a Funeral Service Crew member in Southport to support funeral operations. The role involves transporting and preparing the deceased with dignity, managing client information, and assisting with viewings and ceremonies.
Training is provided and benefits include competitive salary and pension. Part-time position of 12.5 hours per week with varied shifts, on-call duties on weekdays and weekends, and a requirement for a full UK manual driving licence.
£13.24 per hour plus benefits
Part time 12.5 hours per week, flexibility needed as varied shift patterns Monday to Friday between 7am to 6pm - as part of this role, you’ll also be part of the on call rota (Monday to Friday 5pm to 8pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am to 8pm - 1 week in 10)

Please note all positions within Funeralcare can involve direct physical contact with the deceased as part of normal duties – the amount of contact will differ dependant on role applied for.
Typical duties include but are not limited to preparation, transportation, and personal care of the deceased to be carried out with professionalism, dignity, respect and adherence to health and safety standards.
