Co-op Funeralcare in Purley is seeking a Funeral Service Crew member to join our team. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30–16:30, with an on-call rota Monday to Friday 16:30–20:00 and Saturday/Sunday 08:00–20:00, 1 week in 12.
You'll collect the deceased from various locations, bear coffins on funeral days, drive funeral vehicles, prepare coffins and engrave name plates, and help prepare the deceased for viewings with dignity and care.
£29,230 (£14.99 per hour) including London allowance plus benefits

You’ll need a full manual UK driver’s licence for this job.
Please note all positions within Funeralcare can involve direct physical contact with the deceased as part of normal duties – the amount of contact will differ dependant on role applied for.
Typical duties include but are not limited to preparation, transportation, and personal care of the deceased to be carried out with professionalism, dignity, respect and adherence to health and safety standards.
