Jackson's Associates are seeking a compassionate, organised, and professional individual to join our client as a Funeral Arranger. In this role, you will support families during one of the most sensitive times of their lives, ensuring every funeral is arranged and delivered with care, respect, and attention to detail. You will also play an active role in promoting our services within the local community and supporting the daily operations of our branches.

Key Responsibilities
Funeral Arranging & Client Care
  • Arrange funerals, memorial services, and pre-paid funeral plans in line with client wishes, providing knowledgeable guidance on all legal requirements.
  • Liaise sensitively and professionally with families, offering clear advice and reassurance throughout the process.
  • Conduct funerals to the highest standards, ensuring all operational elements run smoothly.
Community Engagement & Service Promotion
  • Promote the full range of our services within the local community to increase client engagement and grow the business.
Operational & Logistical Duties
  • Liaise with Coroners, Cemeteries and Crematoria, Hospitals, Ministers/Celebrants, and other third parties to coordinate funeral arrangements.
  • Answer telephone enquiries, respond to email requests, and provide information promptly and professionally.
  • Drive company vehicles, including cars and removal vehicles, when required.
  • Assist in the removal of the deceased from Nursing Homes, Hospitals, and private residences, working with team members as appropriate.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours service rota.
  • Deliver and collect floral tributes as required.
  • Deliver documents to Crematoria and Cemeteries.
  • Keep all branch locations clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
Administration & Financial Duties
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records across all systems.
  • Manage and update multimedia and social media content for the business.
  • Input basic financial information into online systems.
  • Raise client invoices and process supplier invoices via online banking in line with company procedures.
General Responsibilities
  • Carry out any other duties reasonably associated with your position and required for the effective operation of the business.
