Job summary

Brandon James is seeking a Financial Services & Funds Paralegal to join a specialist legal team advising clients across the financial services and funds sectors in Greater London. The role focuses on UK authorised funds, regulatory and transactional matters, with exposure to regulators and clients.

You will work alongside experienced lawyers, develop technical knowledge, and have clear progression toward qualification within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree and strong academic background.
• At least one year paralegal experience in a law firm, asset manager or relevant environment.
• Strong interest in financial services, funds and regulatory law.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with all aspects of UK authorised funds, including establishment, changes, mergers and closures.
• Supporting ongoing fund-related queries and client matters.
• Preparing FCA applications and notification forms.
• Reviewing and processing amendments to fund documentation, particularly distribution agreements.
• Preparing investor circulars and related documentation.
• Liaising with clients and the FCA.
• Supporting fee earners with their day-to-day legal work.
• Conducting legal and factual research where required.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Assisting with wider administrative and legal tasks across the team.
