Job summary

Dogs Trust is looking for a Fundraising Assistant in the Supporter Acquisition team to help recruit new supporters and support the fundraising operation. You will provide administrative support, manage diaries, assist with copywriting, and help collate data and reports while ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations.

The role is fixed term until October 2027, with interviews provisionally scheduled for October 2026.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and ability to cope under pressure.
• Experience using Microsoft software such as Teams and SharePoint.
• Basic copywriting skills.
• Basic understanding of fundraising and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Supporter Acquisition team, from responding to queries to research and content collation, assisting with elements of the supporter recruitment lifecycle.
• Support with diary management and meeting planning for the team, and manage their digital assets, documents and files.
• Support with sourcing case studies and attending photo shoots, working with rehoming centre teams.
• Generate and circulate reports, gathering information related to income, KPI’s and supporter feedback, helping ensure fundraising compliance.
