Job description

We are seeking to recruit a Fundraising Manager on a 12 Month Maternity Contract.

About the Role

As the Fundraising Manager you will drive forward Groundwork UK’s fundraising strategy to grow income through a variety of audiences – including charity of the year partnerships, trusts and foundations, major donors, and the wider public.

You will maintain and grow relationships with existing donors through careful stewardship in addition to building networks of new supporters, working collaboratively across the organisation and particularly with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the rest of the Fundraising and Partnerships team. You will scope out opportunities, write funding proposals, and develop and manage a pipeline of prospects, actively fundraising to maximise stakeholder relationships and meet Groundwork’s fundraising targets. You will also lead a small team.

About you

You must have had experience in Fundraising with a demonstrable experience of working widely across fundraising disciplines including individual giving, charity of the year partnerships, trusts and foundations and staff fundraising. You will have experience of growing Fundraising income streams with a focus on individual giving, legacies, major donors. You will also have led a fundraising team and volunteers.
