Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in Long/Short Equity for the buy side.
• Strong financial modelling, accounting, and valuation skills.
• Independent fundamental research and differentiated investment views.
• Experience covering Financials or Industrials is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced hedge fund environment.
• Genuine passion for investing and public markets.
• CFA designation or progress towards CFA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on Financials or Industrials.
• Develop high-conviction long and short ideas with clear catalysts.
• Build and maintain complex financial models and valuations.
• Monitor earnings, regulatory developments, and macro trends.
• Engage with management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.
• Present investment recommendations to the Portfolio Manager.
• Track portfolio positions and reassess risk/reward dynamics.
• Identify opportunities where market expectations diverge from fundamentals.
