Job summary

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) seeks a Fund Manager to join the Asset Allocation team, managing a range of multi-asset investment strategies. You will collaborate with economists, strategists and investment specialists to drive performance and portfolio ideas across client needs.

You will research managers, contribute to strategy decisions and help communicate investment views to clients and consultants. The role emphasizes collaboration across the wider business.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-manager funds or strategies that combine multiple active investment approaches.
• Strong manager research experience across asset classes.
• Experience managing multi-asset funds and constructing portfolios.
• Understanding of asset classes, derivatives and portfolio risk.
• Experience communicating investment propositions to clients or consultants.
• Evidence of managing projects and delegating while ensuring quality.
• Collaborative approach and cross-discipline collaboration.
• Experience with Python or Microsoft Copilot would be beneficial.

Job Description

We are looking for a Fund Manager to join L&G Asset Management and our Asset Allocation team, managing a range of multi-asset investment strategies.

The team brings together economists, strategists, fund managers and investment specialists to turn economic insight and investment ideas into portfolios designed for different client needs. In this role, you will contribute to portfolio performance, manager research, strategy development and client communication while working collaboratively across the wider business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing the performance of an agreed range of multi-asset strategies
• Constructing portfolios with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and risk
• Delivering strategic initiatives that extend the investment range and supporting infrastructure
• Contributing to investment ideas and strategy decisions within your areas of expertise
• Researching internal and external managers across key asset classes
• Evaluating risk attribution across portfolios combining index and active alpha exposures
• Communicating investment views and supporting the marketing of multi-asset strategies
• Collaborating across the business to strengthen the overall multi-asset proposition

Who we’re looking for:

• Experience managing multi-manager funds or strategies that combine multiple active investment approaches

• Experience managing multi-asset funds and constructing portfolios
• Understanding of underlying asset classes, derivatives and portfolio risk

• A collaborative approach and confidence working across different investment disciplines
• Experience with Python or Microsoft Copilot would be beneficial
