Job summary

Equifind is recruiting a Fund Controller to join its London operation, four days a week in Knightsbridge. You will oversee fund finance, treasury, reporting, budgeting, and input on new investments, working with senior leadership.

Qualified chartered accountant with 3+ years in fund finance, Lux GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication are required. The role offers career development and a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing fund administrators and outsourced advisors.
• Overseeing the build out and delivery of robust reporting.
• Managing fund budgeting and cash forecasting, including capital calls and distributions.
• Overseeing fund and advisor payments, invoices and expenses; financing oversight.
• Supporting investment teams in new transactions and onboarding.
• Input on portfolio valuations and operational initiatives.
• Contribute to day-to-day initiatives with the operations team.
• Handle ad hoc projects as needed.

Job description

Equifind is supporting a large, multi-faceted UK property investment and management platform to recruit a Fund Controller to join their London operation. It is 4 days a week in the Knightsbridge office.

This is a dynamic and broad role, where you’ll be involved in all aspects of the business -including finance, treasury, due diligence, deal execution, structuring, and reporting while working closely with the entire senior leadership team.

• Overseeing fund administrators and outsourced advisors
• Responsible for overseeing the build out and delivery of efficient and robust reporting
• Managing the fund budgeting and cash forecasting process, including capital calls and distributions.
• Oversight and management of fund and advisor payments, invoices and expenses as well as oversight of financing.
• Supporting investment teams in new transactions and the onboarding of new investments
• Providing input to the operational and financial initiatives within portfolio and on-going assessment of portfolio valuations
• Contribute to key day-to-day initiatives alongside operational team
• Ad hoc projects

Application requirements:

• Qualified chartered accountant
• A minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience, within a fund finance function (ideally private equity real estate)
• Strong understanding of Lux GAAP
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
• Strategic mindset and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
