  • Engaging with internal and external clients to understand and meet evolving requirements.

Job Description

We're recruiting for a Fund Accountant to join us on a 12 month fixed‑term contract. We're offering a competitive base salary. This FTC offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in fund accounting, reporting cycles and system development. You will be part of a collaborative team supporting the transition to a new operating model, contributing to testing, validation and process improvement.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting the transition to a new Strategic Target Operating Model (STOM)
  • Designing and executing testing schedules for new outputs and reports
  • Investigating and documenting test failures and proposing solutions
  • Providing technical support on complex fund accounting areas including IFRS 9 and repos
  • Engaging with internal and external clients to understand and meet evolving requirements
  • Maintaining robust controls and accurate documentation across team functions
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Fund Accounting, Valuations and Investment Operations
  • Integrating quickly into the team and developing a strong understanding of the current operating model
Qualifications
  • Understanding of fund accounting principles and reporting cycles
  • Experience with financial instruments and accounting treatments (e.g. IFRS 9, repos)
  • Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
  • Exposure to transformative programmes or operating model changes
  • Qualified or Part‑Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with relevant experience
