Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Essential Skills Tutor to deliver and coordinate Essential Skills qualifications across South Wales.

The role is home-based with learners located across the region, covering Maths, English and IT, with autonomy to plan, deliver and support apprenticeship learners. You will lead planning, delivery and assessment of English and Maths, bring strong IT and communication skills, and a passion for people development; a full UK driving license and use

• Experience delivering Essential Skills or Functional Skills in a previous role.
• Good IT and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail / Time management skills.
• Passion for people development.
• Full UK Driving licence and use of own car.
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, delivery and assessment of English and Maths to individuals and groups of learners.
• Coordinate delivery of Essential Skills qualifications for apprenticeship learners.
• Support learners to achieve successful completion of qualifications.

Overview: Essential Skills Tutor

We are currently seeking an experienced Essential Skills / Functional Skills Tutor to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of Essential Skills qualifications, for an award-winning training provider.

Working with learners on Essential Skills Maths, English and IT, this opportunity offers autonomy to plan, deliver and support our apprenticeship learners.

This role is home based with learners located across South Wales.
