Job summary

TEC Partnership seeks a dedicated Functional Skills Trainer to support delivery of functional skills across its apprenticeship division, in classroom and employer settings.

You will assist apprentices and staff with online resources and systems, ensuring functional skills outcomes in Maths and English across our campuses. You should hold Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE evidence and be prepared to travel with mileage reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE English/Maths evidence.
• Ability to coach and facilitate teaching of functional skills.
• Willingness to travel and use transport for mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and facilitation of functional skills across apprenticeship division in classroom and employer workplace.
• Assist apprentices and staff to utilize online resources and systems for functional skills delivery.
• Ensure staff are equipped to support Maths and English for apprenticeships across campuses.

About the role

In this Functional Skills Trainer, role you will be responsible for supporting the delivery and facilitation of functional skills across the apprenticeship division, in both a classroom and employer workplace. This will include supporting apprentices and staff to utilize online resources and systems and to ensure staff are equipped to support Math's and English for apprenticeships. This role will support engagement and ensure functional skills outcomes are met across our north bank campuses.

About the person

The successful candidate will require Level 2 and above in Functional skills or have GCSE and be able to evidence their suitability to the role in coaching and facilitating the teaching of functional skills.

You must have your own transport and be willing to travel (mileage reimbursed).
