An educational institution is seeking a passionate Lecturer for Functional Skills Maths to work at HMP Isle of Wight. This role involves designing engaging lessons for learners inside the prison, supporting their educational journey, and promoting skills development. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and a teaching qualification, with a track record of effective teaching. Salary: Up to approx. £20,300 pro rata (£38,144 FTE) Subject to skills and experience

HMP Isle of Wight have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join the prison-based Education Team.
We are seeking a creative and inspiring Maths Lecturer who can deliver engaging classes of 8-12 learners who are based within the prison. As a Maths Lecturer, you will be supporting learners to achieve success and guiding them through the courses. You will not only help them to achieve qualifications, up to level 1 with City & Guilds, but will also support them to develop confidence and skills they can apply to employment upon release, or to other job opportunities within the establishment.
