A Functional Safety Engineer is required to join our team working on the assessment of equipment and systems against published standards. Successful applicants will be customer-focused and have a background in electronics /software , with knowledge of FMEA or FMEDA Risk Assessment, software analysis, MTBF and HAZOP, software languages, specifically C/C++. Experience in SIL determination and FMEA is desirable, particularly in a product manufacturing environment, although relevant industrial experience will be taken into account.
In addition, good communication, problem solving and project management skills are essential.

In addition to the responsibilities and duties listed, the successful candidate may be required to undertake further duties assigned by the Management Team from time to time. There will be a requirement to travel to other Group or client’s premises, both in the UK and overseas.
