Functional Safety Engineer

Our client is an innovative company in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, specializing in modular and scalable EV platforms designed for a wide range of applications. They are seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to join their System Architecture team, focusing on the concept and implementation aspects of the ISO 26262 standard (Parts 3 to 6).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional safety analyses in accordance with ISO 26262.
  • Identify safety gaps, propose improvements, and define safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with design and control engineering teams to review system and software designs.
  • Ensure safety requirements are complete, consistent, and correctly implemented.
  • Support ISO 26262 process implementation and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Assist testing teams in deriving safety‑related test cases and preparing documentation for software validation, integration, and unit testing.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Safety Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 26262.
  • Experience with requirements generation and management systems.
