Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for Functional Assessors to evaluate the health capabilities of claimants. The role is suitable for Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, and Clinical Pharmacists. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year post-registration recent experience in a relevant adult setting.
  • Must have at least 1 year of active registration with NMC or HCPC.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate claimants’ health and/or work capabilities via assessments.
  • Analyse medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities.
  • Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Functional Assessor – Home Based

Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics and Clinical Pharmacists

Salary: £43,000 – £47,500 OTE (up to £54,625 with bonuses)

Includes a 10% annual performance bonus and a 5% one-off payment.

Location: Oxford

Work arrangement: Home based and Office based

Employment type: Full time only

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm – Full‑time and part‑time positions available after full‑time training period.

Role Overview

  • Review Evidence: Analyse medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities.
  • Compile Reports: Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
