A healthcare organization in the UK seeks a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor to evaluate applicants for PIP and WCA benefits. The role offers a supportive environment with training, ensuring excellent work-life balance and professional development. Candidates need a minimum of 12 months post-registration experience in physiotherapy and should hold full HCPC registration. Benefits include an annual salary between £39,500 and £46,300, flexible working, and annual leave of 25 days plus bank holidays.
Play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process, a service that touches the lives of millions of people in the UK. As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will work autonomously to assess the cases of people who are applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit or a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the DWP's Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This will involve holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports. You will only work to assess people for PIP or a WCA, not both. As part of your application process, we will advise you on which service you will work on and discuss what your training will involve. You do not need to have worked as a Functional Assessor previously. We can support you in your career change with our accredited training programme and dedicated support structure.
Our goal is for Advo Health to be a workplace that creates a sense of belonging for everyone. This means that we actively work to promote equal opportunities across all that we do, including when we recruit new talent.
Joining us as a Functional Assessor offers a great work-life balance and a rewarding income, with a supportive team around you and a positive workplace culture. Starting at £39,500, you will receive annual salary reviews in line with your performance. Your support structure will be made up of people who know and understand what it's like to do the role. Embrace the opportunity to be part of a healthcare organisation that values clinicians at all levels and is part of the Ascenti Group, a collection of healthcare brands across the UK.
